An online and in-person community providing resources to cultivate and amplify the voices of Black writers and writers of color.
An online and in-person community providing resources to cultivate and amplify the voices of Black writers and writers of color.
Our goal is to cultivate the craft of independent Black writers and writers of color, give them space to create, a platform to amplify their voices, and a community to support their journey. We do this through our educational masterclasses, mentorship program, and membership community. We want to help readers find their new favorite writer and help writers grow and find new audiences for their work.
Welcome to the community of Black writers and writers of color that you’ve been waiting for. Weekly emails, helpful templates and tools, and access to recorded instruction.
From screenwriting to managing finances as a debut author, we cover it all in candid, insightful conversations around the craft and business of words.
These quarterly masterclasses are led by extremely talented writers in various disciplines including journalism, fiction, and non-fiction. And cover an array of writing topics.
One of the main resources that Black writers and writers of color are missing is mentorship. Our program for working writers runs for three months in the fall and spring.
