Monthly Mentorship

In addition to access to both the Baldwin and Giovanni memberships, you have opted for one-on-one sessions with a writing mentor. These sessions are one-hour calls or Google Hangouts and scheduled based on the availability of you and your mentor. In this session you have the ability to: 

  • Review a current work.
  • Get insight and advice on building your personal brand as a writer.
  • Get insight on the book writing and independent publishing process.
  • Developing as a writer
  • +more. Wherever the conversation leads you and your mentor.

Ashley M. Coleman

The creator of, Ashley is an author, workshop facilitator and avid dreamer. She has independently published two books, "Dear Love: A Love Letter to You" and "Love on Purpose." Her freelance writing has been published in JUMP Magazine,, and many more. She's an advocate for writers finding their voice and learning how expand their reach. Available to help writers with their creative inspiration, content creation, self-publishing and personal blogging.

Gabrielle Hickmon is the Creator-in-Chief of The Reign XY, an online publication for millennial women of color where she leaves it all on the page no matter what. Flitting between poetry and prose, a good read or exposing her vulnerabilities, Gabrielle prides herself on her ability to craft a narrative, tell a good story, and make people not only think, but feel. She is available to mentor those interested in finding/crafting their voice, branding themselves as a writer, and anyone who still believes in the power of the written word - or just anyone who needs an editor to push them/mind their grammar.

Ka'Lyn Coghill

Ka’Lyn Banks-Coghill is a writer, scholar, and digital media strategist. She has been featured/written for publications such as XoNecole, WriteLaughDream,  and Live Civil. She is known for her witty and introspective personal blog and her academic research that focuses on Black women, sociolinguistics, and social media usage. Ka’Lyn loves making people laugh ,leading her life with love, and focuses on her own spiritual journey as a means to heal. She is a mental health advocate and uses her own diagnoses of Bipolar disorder to write about her journey with mental health. 


Laneshia Lamb

Laneshia Lamb is the owner of Adell & Co., a content strategy company for solopreneurs where she helps them find their voice and create quality content. She believes these things are the key in creating authentic connections. Laneshia is available to mentor those who are interested in building a business centered on their writing.
