Fairytale

I would kiss the frog if his heart was a prince,
but it has to be charming.
Always luring me in like a poison apple.
I would fly on magic carpets and rub genie bottles to find him.
In hopes of a fairytale wedding.
He wouldn’t be saving my “poor unfortunate soul”
I kind of like the castle I’m stuck in. It's not perfect but what life is?
I’m perfectly fine with spending hours reading books;
Not judging by the looks just by the context.
If the world calls you a jester,
I’ll be punchline in all your jokes.
In my fantasy I’ll always be your queen and that’s enough for me.
I would kiss a frog if his heart was a prince.
I would try on the glass slipper to try and convince him to see me;
I would be me
and see if that works out.
I would climb up the beanstalk to see if the giant was in doubt and needed some company.
I’m not the only feeling lonely half the time.
I would really love a magic goose to change my mind about reality.
Cause dark magic seems to find me at my lows.
Tries to expose me in front of my foes.
Tries to take my voice and take my life.
I think I have a choice in what I say and do.
If love is really true then it doesn’t matter what he looks like.
It only matters when we say I do.
I do love you unconditionally even if your slimy and green
you mean everything to me.
All I see when I look at you:
A magic carpet ride, an amazing view, you're a dream come true.
